Carolyn Malachi "Beautiful Dreamer"

Singer Carolyn Malachi makes pop, soul, and jazz-influenced R&B with a poetic, avant-garde blend. A native of Washington, D.C., Malachi is great-granddaughter of jazz pianist John Malachi and grew up listening to a wide variety of music. She eventually relocated to Baltimore, where she performed regularly on the singer/songwriter club circuit. She released her debut solo album, "Revenge of the Smart Chicks II: Ambitious Gods", in 2009. The EP "Lions, Fires & Squares" followed in 2010.
